• No nasty smell, more hygienic than oatmeal cultures

• Easy to use, can harvest directly from the agar

• Lasts longer (can be refrigerated too!)

• Do not let agar dry out, check periodically for signs of dryness and drip a few drops of water and swirl around till agar absorbs it all

• You may add a small pinch of baking yeast every 1-2 weeks to increase the yield

• White specks on the agar surface are food for the microworms

• Green/black specks (mold) can be removed by cutting the top layer of the agar out

• Can be recultured by using edible agar and baking yeast

• Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose the additional ingredients in our agar used to increase yield and lifespan of the culture
